Carriage Hall

Michiko worked as a senior designer for Carriage Hall, part of Floral Street's transformation into a premium address, revitalized a historic building into a unique retail space. Sensitive renovation of three interconnected buildings centred on the Grade II-listed Carriage Hall. Bold new materials, like an 8-meter glazed roof light, enriched the historic fabric. The floor plan was altered for full circulation, restoring the original form. A minimal skylight created a central atrium, while a bespoke bench outside subtly references the building's carriage works history, blending conservation with playful detail.
